Revolt to save women in Afrin

Under the slogan of "Women, Revolt for Afrin", Kongra Star in Serdem "al-Aser" camp in the village of Tal Sousin in Fafin district of al-Shahba canton held a gathering to condemn the attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries against Afrin women.

The statement issued by Kongra Star in this regard was read during the gathering by the administrator Hevin Suleiman .

The text of the statement:

"What is going on in the region is not new, because history repeats itself in the international conspiracy against the East in general, and on the Kurds in particular, and this was evident through the Turkish fascist aggression against the people of Afrin in an attempt to annihilate the Kurdish people.

They fought the Kurdish people on behalf  of the Turkish state, but behind them all the nations of the world conspired against the people in Afrin. Turkey changed the demographic of the region and brought the people of al-Ghouta to Afrin. As we know, since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, Afrin has embraced all the components of the Syrian people displaced by terrorist gangs such as IS and others.

Now their dirty actions are repeated against the women of Afrin, but the resistance of women has thwarted all their schemes. The occupation will not be comfortable, because there are hundreds of women in Afrin and al-Shahba follow the path of Avista and Barin.

We in Kongra Star in Afrin region condemn this silence for the brutal attacks on our women. We appeal to all women of the world to revolt for Afrin women, and we appeal to all international organizations, human rights organizations and women's organizations to save Afrin's women. "
