5 Turkish soldiers killed in HPG operations

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) reported that their forces carried out operations in the framework of the military campaign launched on behalf of the Martyrs Agirî and Pîroz, during which 5 Turkish soldiers were killed.

The text of the statement included:

"On May 4 at 10:30 am, our forces carried out an operation on Lêlikan Hill in Başûr (South Kurdistan). In this operation, heavy strikes were carried out on the positions of the occupiers. During the operation, 2 soldiers of the Turkish occupation were killed, and 1 of them got wounded.

On the same day, at 11:40, our forces carried out a sniper operation in the Dishtan Valley in Çelê district of Colemêrg city in Bakur (North Kurdistan), resulting in the killing of a soldier of the Turkish occupation. After the operation, the Turkish occupation army shelled the area with mortars and helicopters.

On the same day, at 14:50, our forces carried out a operation on Ali Shir Hill in the Giver district of Colemêrg. In the process, two Turkish soldiers were killed, according to the information received.

On April 26, the Turkish occupation army began a large-scale attack on Hezan district in Badlis city in Bakur Kurdistan as helicopters and armored vehicles were used. Strong battles broke out between our forces and the Turkish occupation army. In these battles, our companion Toubraq would fall a captive to the enemy, while she carried out a guerilla operation and blasted grenades with herself and joined the ranks of the martyrs. Furthermore, the Turkish occupation withdrew from the area on April 27.
