YPG released statement  about targeting Turkey 's gangs , announcing  killed Zaklol

The General Command of People Protection Units(YPG) released statement to the public opinion about the operation carried out by their units in the framework of the second phase of Resistance of  the Age and targeting of mercenaries of the Turkish state and its army. In the statement, the General Command confirmed that these mercenaries and their families are legitimate targets of our units that continue their resistance against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries. Were able killing of Zaklol, nicknamed Abu Khaled while he was in the area linking between Qarzila and Basuta villages .

The statement reads as follows

Within the framework of the military operations of the second phase of Resistance of the Age  in Afrin, our units, YPG and YPJ carried out several qualitative military operations targeting the mercenaries of the Turkish state and its army, including leaders assigned to sensitive missions by the Turkish" MIT "intelligence.

Including the operation of a special operation aimed at the mercenary Jamal al-Zaklol  nicknamed Abu Khalid al-Zaklol  "the former police chief in the eastern Ghouta", who took the task of settling mercenaries 's families  in Afrin and the displacement of their remaining people and intimidation, where he was met twice by the Turkish intelligence "MIT" in Turkey with the task of overseeing the formation of the forces of "internal security of mercenaries" in Afrin as well as the formation of the so-called legitimacy and its courts in the region.

Special Units of our forces on Friday morning  at 7 am, targeted the vehicle of the mercenary Abo Zaklol while he was in the area between Basuta and Qarzila villages  where he successfully exploded and was killed. Zaklol  had toured yesterday with the mercenaries of al-Hamzah Brigade and al-Sham Corps in Basouta village  .And the imposition of the delivery of a piece of arms from each house to the mercenaries under the threat of displacement of those who refuse to obey their orders.

After the success of the operation and the killing of the mercenary Zaklol I went to the area patrol of the mercenaries of al-Sham Corps of the operation, where our units targeted them also killed three mercenaries from the Corps and the destruction of their military vehicle.

In this regard, we refer to our previous statement on the attempts of the Turkish State and its illegal mercenaries to settle mercenaries 's families in the Afrin region and to change their demographics after the displacement of their people. We emphasize that these mercenaries and their families are legitimate targets of our units. And the great sacrifices it has taken to protect the security of the region and its inhabitants, including the hundreds of thousands of displaced people who have fled the war zones in Syria and resorted to Afrin benefiting from all the potentials So let all those who have been tricked into not being dragged behind the tricks of the Turkish state and its intelligence, and refusing to turn them into tools of sale and purchase by the Turkish state, the strikes of our critical units will not exclude them after this statement.

We salute the steadfastness of our displaced people from Afrin and their rejection of the occupation, its tools and mercenaries, and renew our pledge that our units will spare no effort to liberate Afrin from the occupation and will continue to resist them at all costs
