TEV-DEM: We bless World Labor Day; salute our people's resistance in Afrin

Executive Body of Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) issued a statement on the occasion of World Labor Day, which occurs on May 1, under the title "Victory of Afrin, Victory for Justice and Freedom for All Peoples." "We bless the International Labor Day and salute the resistance of our people in Afrin "He said.

The text of the statement:

"The struggle of workers' movements against the attitudes of the bourgeois regimes and the expropriation of their rights had a great influence on the development of labor issue and its rights in pursuing the struggle until its objectives were achieved, the workers' struggle throughout the world for rights and the building of will became an example and a model of emancipation. The labor revolution, which became the title of free will of the last century, has united the labor groups with the massive in building the will; this has been an important transformation and great development. This freedom; however, is still subject to attempts of control and blockage through the conspiracies that reveal today the will of peoples who are part of the will of workers, the freedom of workers and public, is blocked by the campaign against the will of women and unity of peoples against the project of the peoples' brotherhood and their struggle for freedom and democracy, and against the project of resistance to terrorism and its extremist ideology on our societies.

In the revolution of North Syria, our people are moving towards establishing the values ​​of free living and human rights principles, our peoples' revolution follows the struggle of labor march and all the movements of the fighters in the world towards building free societies and the acquisition of rights and the achievement of fair social values, freedom and democratic approach

All the forces and peoples that are still under the authority of the capitalist and central powers in Middle East and the world and its conspiracy models had been liberated.

This liberation opens up the horizons of freedom that cannot be without a free and democratic revolution as the revolution of our people today in Rojava Kurdistan - North Syria, where the completion of the spirit of workers' revolution and the building of community administration represented in the struggle against the forces which target the will of the people and workers such as the central hegemony and monotheism and the forces of terrorism as a Daesh and its counterparts and supporters of the regional powers led by Turkish state, this struggle which will be done through free aspiration and democratic building and projects containing dilemmas such as the project of Democratic Nation and peoples' brotherhood and coexistence, the struggle for identity and common existence.

On May 1, World Labor Day, we congratulate all the workers in the world, this is a historic day for us, in the spirit of the workers' struggle, we salute the resistance of Afrin, the revolution of our people. The resurgence of the revolution of workers who will prevail and achieve free will and failure of all conspiracy and schemes that want to undermine the will and the social decision, including the will of workers and their rights.

On this occasion, we also appeal to all our people and the workers of the world, technocrats, civil organizations, youth and women's movements, intellectuals and activists to raise the pace of resistance and support Afrin and contribute to its liberation with all possibilities and work together under the slogan:

"Victory of Afrin ... Victory of Justice and Freedom for All Peoples"

With these lofty principles, victory will be achieved in Afrin and Afrin will then be the icon of a new project in Syria and the area, but it will nevertheless begin an important transformation towards stability, justice, democracy and freedom.
