Opening 3rd women session at Syrian Women Academy in al-Raqqa

43 members of civil and military institutions of al-Jazeera and Euphrates regions have joined the course.

The members of this course will receive intellectual, cultural and political lessons on (Training importance – Women's history- Democratic Nation and its Federalism – Special war – criticism and self-criticism).

The course was named martyr Jinda Tal-Tamar, who was martyred during her confrontation to IS mercenaries in Kobani in 2014.

In this regard, ANHA conducted a meeting with one of the trainees Najah Mohammed al-Hamoud, who said “We presented to this session to recognize the importance of women and their role in building society and the need to free our thinking and increase our awareness and engagement of women in political fields and all aspects of practical life and prove our role in society.”

In her turn, the administrator spoke at the Academy of Syrian Free Women's Council, Hana al- Khalaf, "with the aim of liberating women and increasing their awareness, we continue to open the training courses for women of al-Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor."

"We want to save women from the reality they were living in a time of IS mercenaries, preaching and depriving them of their basic rights and obtaining their full freedom and rights to achieve equal and participatory life with men as she is the basic infrastructure in building society," she said.

The session will last for 25 days.
