National Conference supports Şengal against Turkish threats

The delegation of the Kurdish National Conference assured during its visit to the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) in Şengal that it will work to reach Şengal people’s voice to the international community.

ŞENGAL

On Monday afternoon, a delegation of Kurdish National Conference visited Şengal province to discuss the security and social conditions in Şengal province after the Turkish threats which stated to launch aggression against Şengal under the pretext of the presence of Popular Defense Forces "Guerilla" inside the province.

The delegation included 25 representatives of the Communist Party, Kurdistan Community’s Freedom Movement, the Workers' Party, the Popular Democratic Front, the People's Assembly of Martyr Restam Judy camp in Makhmour and representatives of Peshmerga veterans.

The delegation was received in the center of Democratic Autonomous Administration in Şengal by the joint presidency of Autonomous Administration Riham Hejjo and Hussein Hajji, the co-chair of the Executive Council of Şengal Zahra Sulaiman, in addition to a number of members of the Yazidi Democracy and Freedom Party.

At the beginning, the Joint Vice-President of Democratic Autonomous Administration in Şengal Qehtan Ali welcomed the attendees and stressed that Şengal's people who stood against the genocide 74 times will also now resist any attack launched by the Turkish occupation forces and any aggression threatening the Yazidis in Şengal and their Democratic Autonomous Administration.

Ali pointed out that the current conditions are most appropriate for holding the Kurdish National Conference to stand against any possible aggression would be launched against the Kurds in all parts of Kurdistan, especially that the Turkish occupation threatens the Kurds in all parts of Kurdistan.
For his part, Shukallah Muhammad Amin talked on behalf of the delegation of the Kurdish National Conference, and he denounced at the beginning of his speech the Turkish threats to attack Şengal.

Furthermore, the delegation is scheduled to visit the institutions of Democratic Autonomous Administration in Xanesor town on Tuesday.
