Lecture on Ocalan's life, struggle delivered in Qamişlo

QAMIŞLO

In a series of lectures organized by Kongra Star in al-Jazeera region on the isolation imposed on the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Kongra Star organized a lecture for the people of Qamişlo and members of civil society organizations in Qamişlo canto, at Mohammed Sheikho Center for Culture and Art.

The lecture began with holding a minute of silence, and then the lecture was given by the member of the Training Committee in al-Jazeera region, Samira Haj Ali who spoke at the beginning about the date of the birth of the Leader, and how he began analyzing the personality of women, and Samira said, "The leader was born in Amara village in Bakur Kurdistan, after finishing his studying there, he moved to study law at the University of Istanbul in 1971, and in the same year, he moved to study the faculty of political science at Ankara University.

Samira added, "In 1978, in the village of Vis, Leca Center in Diyarbakir, the leader founded the Kurdistan's Workers Party (PKK), the leader was influenced by the marriage of his sister, and from here, his thought of liberating women from male authoritarian mentality began, and today, thanks to his philosophy and philosophy, Women are being liberated from the authoritarian mentality."

She noted, "The European countries conspired against the leader and handed him over to the Turkish state whose aim was to harm the Kurdish people in the person of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan."

The member in Kongra Star Delîla said, "From this point of view, we must do our duty towards our leader who has guided us to the path of freedom, and to continue activities in order to end his isolation."

Furthermore, The lecture ended with slogans which demand Ocalan's freedom.
