Autonomous Administration prepared for opening of another camp in al-Shahba

The Democratic Autonomous Administration in Afrin region is preparing to open another camp in al-Shahba canton to Afrin residents who were forced out of their homes during the occupation of Turkey.

The first step began to open the camp ten days ago by the committees and bodies of Autonomous Adiminstration , where the administration seeks to shelter to Afrin people.

The administration has allocated 6 square meters of the camp in Tel –Susin village in al-Shahba canton . The administration plans to erect 2,000 tents in the camp to provide shelter for 2000 families.

For more information on the matter, the administrator member of the camp, Hussein Hanan, said they had settled the camp's floor and prepared the sewage.

Hanan pointed out that they will end the construction of the camp this month, appealing to international and local organizations to help them and to Afrin people .

It is noteworthy that the People's Municipality and in coordination with Autonomous Administration opened Berxwedan camp in Fafin district belonging to al-Shahba canton earlier.
