31 fighters join ranks of Women Protection Units

GIRÊ SIPÎ -The Martyr Rojda Academy in Manbij at Ain Issa district belonging to Girê Sipî (Tel –Abyad) in Euphrates region ended training course under the name the martyr "Gulan Qamishlo" and 31 fighters have joined to the course for 45 days.

During the course, the fighters received an intellectual and military lesson from the methods of fighting and how to use weapons.

Graduation ceremony took place on Wednesday at the Academy in conjunction with the anniversary of the April 4, Ocelan's birthday.

Leaders of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the leadership of Women Protection Units (YPJ) Zanarin Qamishlo in addition to dozens of fighters attended the ceremony.

The ceremony began with a minute of silence followed by a military parade by the fighters, and then the leader, Zanarin Qamishlo delivered a speech that began by congratulating the fighters by closing their sessions.

Zanarin also said: "As fighters of this people and as freedom students, we congratulate the birth of Ocelan on the whole of our people, the birth of freedom and the struggle for rights."

During her speech, she commemorated the martyrs of Women Protection Units (YPJ) and promised to continue the struggle to protect the land and achieve freedom.

The graduation ceremony ended with the cheering of the fighters with slogans that salute the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocelan. Then the participants took to dancing in rings on revolutionary songs.
