A documentary film about Ocelan's life

The Democratic Community Academy in Girê Sipî canton organized a meeting on the birthday of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocelan, and presented a documentary film about his life and struggle.

GIRÊ SIPÎ-In the occasion of the birthday of the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocelan, the Community Democratic Academy in Girê Sipî organized a meeting of members and administrators of institutions and residents of Girê Sipî, and the meeting was held at the National Hospital Theater in the city.

The meeting began with a minute of silence, after which the administrator at the Academy of Democratic Society Mohammed Shaheen said in a statement " The leader Abdullah Ocelan has been fighting for 40 years for the freedom of the Kurdish people and the liberation of oppressed peoples in the Middle East."

He added "Thanks to Ocalan's philosophy, we are now carrying out this revolution in Rojava and north Syria to realize the freedom of peoples and the union of people who have suffered from slavery."
A documentary about the life and struggle of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocelan was then shown.

The meeting ended with slogans saluting the struggle of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocelan
