14 Turkish mercenaries killed, 8 infiltration attempts foiled in Manbij countryside

The media center of the Manbij Military Council published the results for September, which included the attacks by the Turkish occupation and the infiltration operations of the mercenaries, along with the number of casualties among them.

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted the villages of Manbij countryside with hundreds of heavy artillery and mortar shells. The breakdown of shelling on the villages is as follows: "Al-Hoshariya: 14 shells, Al-Jat: 45 shells, Darij: 5 shells, Al-Toukhari: 15 shells, Awn Al-Dadat: 98 shells, Al-Mafareed: 12 shells, Al-Muhsenli: 21 shells, Al-Jarad: 30 shells, Arab Hassan: 13 shells, Um Jalud: 25 shells, Al-Dandaniya: 32 shells, Al-Sayyada: 22 shells, Al-Kawkali: 9 shells, Kurhayok: 59 shells." The brutal shelling came from the Turkish occupation bases established in the villages of "Sheikh Nasser and Yalashli" near the contact points, where those villages were indiscriminately targeted with heavy artillery and mortar shells.

The shelling affected civilian homes and caused significant damage to civilian property, including the burning of a generator and a motorcycle.

In response to these ongoing attacks, the Manbij Military Council forces were able to thwart all attempts by the Turkish occupation to impose its control over these villages, whether through direct attacks or infiltration attempts.

- On September 11, 2024, Turkish-backed mercenaries attempted to infiltrate the village of “Um Jalud,” but the fighters of the Manbij Military Council confronted them, foiling the infiltration attempt. The mercenaries suffered losses in personnel and equipment, with 10 mercenaries killed and 10 others injured.

Throughout September, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries attempted several times to infiltrate the villages of Manbij countryside, but the forces of the Manbij Military Council thwarted all of these attempts.
