Yesterday, the body of a former member of the "Rustam Ghazali Brigade," affiliated with the former regime forces, was found shot dead on the outskirts of the village of Al-Najih in northern rural Daraa.

Additionally, four bodies were discovered, three of them unidentified, inside a small pit in the Al-Tebni desert, west of Deir ez-Zor, in an advanced state of decomposition. The fourth body belonged to a man in his sixties, found lying on the road near the village of Al-Tuwain in western rural Hama.

A young man was killed when a hand grenade accidentally exploded in his hand in the city of Marea, in northern rural Aleppo.

Meanwhile, seven other people were killed by landmine explosions left over from the war in Homs province, four of them in the Al-Sukhna desert in the eastern countryside, while the other three, all children, died in the village of Al-Shumariya in the western countryside.

Separately, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that a young man was killed following violent clashes between two families in the city of Zakia, in western rural Damascus, due to a dispute over a piece of land.

The Observatory also announced the killing of an arms dealer, who was shot dead by unidentified gunmen. His body was dumped between the villages of Al-Katouf and Tal Dhiyab in the Ras al-Ain countryside, northern Hasaka, after he was lured in an apparent robbery attempt.
