A total of 137 people, including 7 women and 2 children, have been killed since the beginning of last April under various circumstances.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of 137 people across different parts of Syria during the past month of April, including seven women and two children, in incidents of violence described as “attacks and assassinations.”

The Observatory noted that Homs Governorate topped the list in terms of the number of victims, with 60 people killed, including 7 women and a child.

The full breakdown of victims by geographic distribution is as follows: Tartous: 8 (all men), Daraa: 7 (all men), Homs: 60 (52 men, 1 child, 7 women), Idlib: 4 (all men), Damascus: 10 (all men), Hama: 15 (14 men, 1 child), Rural Damascus: 5 (all men), Latakia: 11 (all men) and Aleppo: 17 (all men).
