At least 13 people were killed in various incidents in Syria over the past 24 hours, including assassinations, family disputes, explosions, and mysterious killings, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In Idlib, a member of the Syrian Transitional Government's Ministry of Defense was killed by an accidental hand grenade explosion in the town of Killi. The body of an elderly man was found stabbed in the city of Albukamal, east of Deir ez-Zor, in a crime whose motive remains unknown.

The Observatory also confirmed the killing of a commander in the security forces affiliated with the transitional government in an attack carried out by unknown gunmen near the Muhajja Bridge in the northern Daraa countryside. Meanwhile, a young man was shot dead in a revenge attack on the Maliha al-Atash road east of the same governorate.

In the city of Latakia, a woman was killed in a direct attack by a security patrol on the Blue Beach Road. A young man was also killed in the Salah al-Din neighborhood of Aleppo by unknown gunmen.

In Damascus, a young man was found shot in the head in the al-Midan neighborhood, under mysterious circumstances. A person also died in Tafas in the Daraa countryside from his wounds after being hit by a bullet that discharged from his weapon while he was cleaning it.

In a shocking incident in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, a father shot his son to death in the village of Hamar al-Ali due to a family dispute. Meanwhile, a member of the Ministry of Defense of the transitional government was killed by one of his cousins ​​in the town of al-Quriyah following an old blood feud.

Also in the Latakia countryside, a young man and a child were killed while herding sheep in the village of al-Midan in Ras al-Basit, after being shot by unknown assailants on motorcycles.

A person also died from shrapnel from a landmine left over from the war that exploded in the Mahkan desert in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.
