The Afrin Human Rights Organization in Syria reported that the Turkish-backed mercenaries raided Tel Aran in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and abducted 11 young men from the village, including a minor.

According to the organization, the abductees are Mustafa Abo al-Bir, Omer Abo al-Bir, Ibrahim Nassif, Hassen Hermis, Ismail Tanbal (40 years old), Ahmed Tanbal, Mohamed Atto, Ahmed Atto (22 years old), Mostafa Suleiman (45 years old), Mahmoud Ismail Mohamed (17 years old), and one other person whose identity has not been known yet.

The mercenaries stormed the village at 6:10 PM on Saturday, November 8th, and abducted the young men while they were sitting in front of a house, taking them to al-Waha prison in the city of al-Safira.

The organization confirmed that this incident is not the first of its kind, but rather part of an ongoing campaign of abductions targeting young men for various reasons.

The organization noted that the increasing violations and security harassment have prompted a number of young men in recent months to leave the region for Lebanon, fleeing persecution and kidnapping, amid fears of escalating security tensions in light of repeated violations against civilians.
