Young man arrested during Israeli incursion in Quneitra countryside

An Israeli force entered the village of Ain al-Ziwan and Abu Qubais Hill in the Quneitra countryside, carrying out raids on several homes. The operation ended with the arrest of a local young man before the force withdrew.

ANHA correspondent reported that an Israeli force entered Ain al-Ziwan village in the central Quneitra countryside at dawn today, where it conducted raids targeting a number of residential homes in the village.

During the operation, the force arrested a young man from the area, although no immediate information was available regarding the reasons for his arrest or where he was taken.

ANHA correspondent added that the Israeli force withdrew from the village after completing its raids.

Meanwhile, Abu Qubais Hill in the southern Quneitra countryside also witnessed the advance of two tanks accompanied by a number of Israeli soldiers this morning.

It is worth noting that yesterday, the UN Deputy Special Envoy for Syria, Claudio Cordone criticized the continued Israeli military activity in southern Syria and called on Israel to comply with the 1974 disengagement agreement.
