Women of Kobani take part in Night Guard Duties

 In light of the current tensions and the escalating hostilities in the region, ANHA agency spoke with several women who have taken to the streets for night watch duties, ensuring the security of their neighborhoods amid the prevailing threats.

 Suzda Khalil, one of the women involved in these patrols, emphasized their steadfast resolve, stating:

"We take to the streets to safeguard our neighborhoods in these challenging times. Our fathers, sons, brothers, and sisters have sacrificed their lives for this land, and we will never abandon it. We are prepared to do whatever it takes to keep it safe and secure."

 She added,"We are the children and siblings of martyrs; no one can ignore our presence. Our strength is sufficient to defeat anyone who dares to attack us because we draw our power and morale from the spirit of our martyrs. We will always remain an unyielding bastion standing firmly behind our fighters in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Women's Protection Units (YPJ)."

 Among those engaged in night patrols is Sabah Mohammed Naasan, who diligently works to protect the streets of Kobani while her husband serves on the frontlines in the city's outskirts.

 Expressing her unwavering support for the SDF and YPJ fighters, she remarked:

"Our trust in our forces is absolute. We stand by them with all our strength and capabilities. We will defend our land alongside our fighters, and if necessary, we will engage in battle ourselves, confronting the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries face to face."
