The Martyrs' Families Council and the Democratic Union Party in the city of Aleppo issued a joint statement to world public opinion, in which they called for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, coinciding with the 26th anniversary of his kidnapping as a result of an international conspiracy.

The statement was read in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in the city of Aleppo by the administrator of the Women’s Council of the Martyrs’ Families Council, Dalal Muhammad, and the co-chair of the Yazidi House in Aleppo, Manan Jaafar.

The statement saluted the resistance of Leader Abdullah Ocalan against all pressures and the system of torture and extermination, and read: “The international conspiracy against the person of the leader since the black day when the dark powers gathered and arrested the leader and transferred him to an Imrali prison is nothing but conclusive evidence of the complicity of the great powers in a dirty political plot with the Ottomans to satisfy their desires and submit to unipolar hegemony

The statement stressed the increase in determination and resolve to achieve the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan immediately, without conditions and restrictions, and added: "We will continue our effectiveness tirelessly to deliver our voice to the international community and all human rights organizations, especially the European Organization against Torture."

The statement called for the intervention of the international community to achieve the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and to stop the attacks of the Turkish occupation state against the NE Syria, in addition to preserving the path of the struggle of free women as one of the foundations of revolutionary thought.
