Today, a UN-provided aid convoy reached the city of Kobani as part of humanitarian efforts aimed at supporting residents amid harsh conditions and the siege imposed on the city.

The convoy included 24 trucks loaded with basic food supplies, relief materials, and heating fuel, to be distributed to families affected by shelling and the siege imposed by the Syrian interim government and its mercenaries.

The arrival of these supplies comes at a time when civilians—especially children—are facing increasing suffering due to continued attacks on the countryside of Kobani. Mercenaries of the interim government targeted the village of Qasmiya in the rural areas of Kobani, killing a young girl and injuring three other children from the same family.
