The Kurdish Issue Resolution Committee in the Turkish Parliament heard from human rights organizations, including the "Jurists for Freedom" Association, during its first session of the thirteenth meeting of sessions devoted to hearing.

A while ago, the first session of the 13th meeting of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Committee, established in the Turkish Parliament to resolve the Kurdish issue, held. The hearings will include the Association of Jurists, the Association of Jurists for Freedom, the Association of Social Democratic Jurists, and the Association for Legal Research.

The second session of the meeting will include hearing from Professor Dr. Abdurrahman Eren, Professor Dr. Fazız Husnu Erdem, Professor Dr. İlhan Özlmaz, Professor Dr. Mahmut Koca, and Professor Dr. Bahri Öztürk.

In his opening remarks at the first session of the meeting, the head of the Turkish Parliament Numan Kurtulmuş expressed his hope that the hearing stage would soon conclude and move to the legal proposals stage.

Commenting on the committee's work, Numan Kurtulmuş said, "Today we are hearing from human rights organizations and academics."
