Kamiran Othman, a member of the CPT organization, said in a statement on Tuesday that the Turkish occupation army intensively bombed the villages of Dereish, Karkashi, Maji, Kafni Maji, and Sepindar in the Amedi district.

Othman explained that the bombing caused a fire inside the mosque in the village of Dereish, in addition to burning dozens of dunams of agricultural land and fruit trees, causing significant damage to residents' property and their natural environment.

These attacks come as part of the military campaign waged by the occupying Turkish state for years against areas in southern Kurdistan, amid the silence of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the international community's disregard for the ongoing violations against civilians.
