Sources and centers monitoring and documenting violations reported that the Turkish occupation mercenaries began excavating some hills and houses in search of antiquities in 2 neighborhoods in the city of Serêkaniyê occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, as well as in an archaeological hill in its southern countryside.

The sources indicated that the Al-Amshat mercenaries mobilized yesterday on orders from their leaders in the city. To guard Fakhiriya Hill, south of Serêkaniyê, where excavation operations are taking place.

And added that the "Al-Amshat" and "Al-Hamzat" mercenaries dug 2 houses owned by Kurdish families in the center of the city of Serêkaniyê, which Turkey and its mercenaries occupied in October 2019.

The areas occupied by the Turkish occupation army are witnessing inhumane violations and crimes committed against nature, citizens, and archaeological sites.
