The Turkish occupation mercenaries bombed areas in the Idlib countryside with mortar shells, while a member of the Damascus government forces was killed by a sniper shot by the "Al-Fatah Al-Mubin" mercenaries.

A member of the Damascus government forces was killed by snipers by Al-Fatah Al-Mubin mercenaries near the city of Saraqeb in the southern countryside of Idlib, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The Turkish occupation mercenaries targeted with mortar shells sites near the village of Al-Malajah in the southern countryside of Idlib, within the so-called “de-escalation” zone, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Thus, the number of soldiers and citizens killed in ground attacks within the “de-escalation” zone since the beginning of 2024 has risen to 83, during 88 attacks that varied between attacks, sniper operations, clashes, and targeting. More than 34 soldiers and 49 citizens were injured in the aforementioned operations.
