Tribal meeting in Qamishlo calls for social unity

During a large tribal meeting held at his guesthouse in the village of Jarmiz, near Qamishlo, the Emir of the Tayy Tribe, Mohammed Abdul Razzaq, called on tribal sheikhs and dignitaries to strengthen ties of friendship and solidarity among the people of the region. He stressed the need to work with a shared sense of responsibility to preserve unity and promote cooperation among different social groups.

The meeting was attended by Siban Hamo, Deputy Minister of Defense for the Eastern Region in the Interim Government, Helzwar Mitani, Director of Military Media, and Luqman Khalil, Commander of the Qamishlo Brigade. Participants discussed the general situation in the region and ways to enhance security and stability.

During the gathering, sheikhs of the Tayy Tribe presented several proposals and ideas aimed at supporting military leadership efforts to maintain civil peace and strengthen stability. They also highlighted the importance of continued coordination between military institutions and social and tribal leaders to address current challenges and reinforce security and reassurance among residents.
