Tom Barrack comments on his meeting with SDF Commander

US Special Envoy to Syria Tom Barrack posted a tweet on his X account commenting on his meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, accompanied by the Commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper.

Barrack wrote: "I visited northeast Syria today with the Commander of US Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper, and we held substantive discussions with the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi.

He noted in his blog post that "the visit represents a major boost to US President Donald Trump's vision of giving Syria a chance by empowering Syrians to unite in a renewed effort for peace and shared prosperity."

It's worth noting that US Special Envoy Tom Barak's visit to northeastern Syria is the first of its kind since assuming his position. During the visit, they discussed the situation in the region and Syria in general, the implementation of the March 10 agreement, and the establishment of stability in the region to create a safe environment for investment and the return of displaced persons.
