Three SDF fighters martyred by car bombing in Hasaka
The Internal Security Forces of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria revealed details about a car explosion in Hasaka yesterday, announcing the martyrdom of three Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters who were in a vehicle belonging to the War Wounded Foundation.
The media center of the Internal Security Forces of NE Syria issued a statement regarding the car explosion in Hasaka, which occurred yesterday. The statement read:
"Amid the ongoing efforts of our forces to combat terrorism and clear villages in the Hasaka countryside, particularly the al-Hol area and camp, of terrorist cells and those wanted on charges of collaborating with and aiding them, hostile parties carried out a bombing on Monday evening, November 11. The targeted vehicle, a Hyundai belonging to the War Wounded Foundation, was in the Salihiyah neighborhood near the water department in Hasaka. It is believed that the bomb was planted with a remote-control device, resulting in the instant martyrdom of three SDF members inside the vehicle.
Two of the martyrs in this attack were war-wounded fighters who had sustained injuries during battles against the terrorist organization ISIS, in addition to the vehicle's driver.
Our forces are determinedly and intensively pursuing the investigation of this cowardly terrorist act to identify and bring the perpetrators to justice."
