Three Damascus troops killed by ISIS attack in rural Homs
Three members of the Damascus government forces were killed by an attack on an ISIS/Daesh gangs at a military post in Badia al-Sukhnah in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Daesh gangs carried out an attack on a site where elements of the 25th Special Task Force of the Damascus government forces were stationed in Badia in the eastern countryside of Homs.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, light and medium weapons were used.
The attack resulted in the deaths of an officer of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and two other members of the division.
According to the SHOR documentation, the death toll in the course of the military attacks within the Syrian desert was 372 since the beginning of the year, 37 citizens, including a child with ISIS attacks in Badia, 308 from the government of Damascus forces and pro-Damascus groups, and 27 from ISIS mercenaries, all killed in 127 ISIS attacks in various areas of Badia, which were carried out through ambushes, armed attacks, and bombings in Badia Deir-ez-Zor, Raqqa, and Homs.
