As part of the third installment of the humanitarian aid campaign from NE Syria, an aid convoy set off from the Albu Asi crossing in Tabqa Canton toward the coastal areas.

The Mesopotamia Association for Relief and Development has allocated 6,000 food baskets to support affected families and alleviate their suffering, as part of the contributions of the people of the regions of northern and eastern Syria.

The association had prepared the convoy yesterday, Friday, in coordination with the Social Affairs and Labor Body in the DAANES, including a variety of food baskets aimed at supporting needy families.

This convoy is the third batch sent from NE Syria to the coast since last March, as two previous batches were supported by popular activities and civil organizations, most notably the Kurdish Red Crescent and the Democratic Autonomous Administration.

This initiative comes as a continuation of the solidarity efforts made by the components of NE Syria to emphasize the values of fraternity and social solidarity between the various Syrian regions.
