The meeting took place at Burj Hall in Qamishlo, attended by Autonomous Administration advisor Hassan Kocher, TEV-DEM co-chair Ramziya Mohammed, and hundreds of lawyers from Rojava.

In his speech, Hassan Kocher stated that “integration remains a primary goal, but self-defense is a necessity at this stage,” stressing that popular resistance and the resistance of fighters have been fundamental in protecting the region, and that any imposed war would be met with legitimate self-defense.

He also noted that discussions were held with the Interim Government regarding the status of lawyers, emphasizing the need to establish a bar association in al-Hasakah with branches in other cities, enabling lawyers to organize themselves institutionally.

The floor was then opened for discussion, with participants addressing issues related to integration, education, and various other social matters.
