The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that there was tension in the villages of Anaz and Al-Hawash in the Homs countryside last night, due to the movement of a group of about 13 motorcycles, believed to belong to individuals supporting the Syrian transitional government, who were raising ISIS flags.

The SOHR indicated that the group stopped near St. Elias Church in Al-Hawash, where Christmas tree installation was taking place, amid chants, takbirs, and offensive slogans, which caused fear and tension among the residents.

Since this morning, attempts have been made to pressure residents in neighboring villages to participate in pro-transitional government marches; however, the residents refused to join despite facing pressure and threats.
