The decision by the Ministry of Education in the Interim Government to recognize middle and secondary school certificates issued by the Autonomous Administration has been widely welcomed within educational and student circles, as it is seen as an important step toward protecting the rights of thousands of students and graduates.

However, teachers and students from the city of Tel Tamer stressed that this measure should be complemented by the recognition of universities and institutes affiliated with the Autonomous Administration, as well as constitutional recognition of the Kurdish language.

In this regard, Kurdish language teacher Dilyar Khalaf said: "We welcome the decision to recognize middle and secondary school certificates issued by the Autonomous Administration, and we consider it a positive and important step. It is the result of years of work, struggle, and sacrifice, and a direct outcome of the blood of our martyrs and the resilience of our people."

He added: "This step alone is not enough. We call for the official recognition of universities, institutes, and all educational institutions affiliated with the Autonomous Administration, in a way that guarantees the rights of our students and graduates and provides them with the opportunity to continue their educational and academic journey without obstacles."

Khalaf continued: "Our demands are not limited to the recognition of certificates alone. They also include constitutional recognition of the Kurdish language as a fundamental right of our people a right for which Kurds have struggled for decades and made countless sacrifices."

For his part, teacher Fadel Ali expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Education in the Interim Government for its decision to recognize Autonomous Administration certificates.

He described the move as positive and an important step in the right direction, saying: "These certificates are not merely official documents; they are the product of many years of dedication, hard work, and perseverance by teachers, students, and parents under exceptional circumstances."

He emphasized: "This achievement is the result of the great sacrifices made by our martyrs, the efforts of teachers, the support provided by parents, and the determination of students who continued their education despite all difficulties, allowing us to reach this stage, which can be considered a positive and encouraging development."

Concluding his remarks, Fadel Ali said: "This recognition represents part of the rights we have been demanding, but it is not the end of the road. We continue to call for the full recognition of our people's cultural and educational rights, foremost among them constitutional recognition of the Kurdish language, in a manner that strengthens the principles of justice, equality, and partnership among all components of Syrian society."

Similarly, secondary school student Nalin Sido stressed that what has been achieved today did not come about by chance but was the result of many years of struggle and sacrifice made by martyrs and their comrades, as well as the tremendous efforts exerted to preserve and sustain the educational process despite numerous challenges and difficult circumstances.

She concluded: "We hope this step will mark the beginning of further measures that ensure full recognition of our educational institutions and the rights of our students."
