The Tal Tamr City Council, in coordination with the Democratic Union Party (PYD), organized two public meetings to discuss the political developments in the region.

The first meeting in the town of Al-Ghurra

The first meeting was held in the town of Al-Ghurra in the Mount Kizwan (Abdul Aziz) area, attended by dozens of residents from the town and neighboring villages. Abdulrahman Hussein, member of the Democratic Union Party, spoke about the current political situation and future challenges.

Hussein praised the role of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, explaining that the revolution in Rojava was built on the foundations of shared sacrifices among all components to protect the region from the most dangerous "terrorist" organizations, such as ISIS mercenaries.

He emphasized the need to resist the discord spread by agents of the Turkish occupying state and to be aware of its plans aimed at dismantling the social fabric of the region.

Hussein also addressed the situation in Manbij, which is currently suffering from kidnappings and looting since its occupation by Turkish forces and their mercenaries, who call themselves the “National Army.”

The second meeting in the village of Khuwaitla

The second meeting was held in the village of Khuwaitla, north of Tal Tamr, along the frontlines with the Turkish occupying army and its mercenaries. Mohammed Nour Al-Ahmad, member of the Intellectuals’ Union in Tal Tamr, spoke about the political developments in the country, the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, and his abandonment of his forces to their fate.

Al-Ahmad stressed the importance of maintaining the cohesion of the region, which has succeeded in remaining steadfast thanks to the Autonomous Administration and the unity of its components under one unified system.

He called for resisting the psychological and special warfare, as well as the rumors spread by agents of the Turkish occupation, urging everyone to stand united against aggression.

At the conclusion of both meetings, attendees reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Syrian Democratic Forces in confronting the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries. They emphasized that the Autonomous Administration model represents the most suitable solution for Syria's future.
