Tal Tamr residents confirm their standing together against Turkish occupation

Since Turkey and its Syrian mercenaries occupied the city of Serekaniye/Ras al-Ain and its countryside, they have continued to launch attacks on the countryside of Tal Tamr city in al-Jazira canton. Hardly a day goes by without some villages being subjected to attacks that have caused great material damage, halted the educational process, and caused human losses.

But these attacks have not diminished the determination and insistence of the people of Tal Tamr and its countryside, from Kurds, Arabs, and Assyrians, to cling to their land, remain in it, and defend it against the ambitions of the Turkish occupation state.

In this context, citizen Sanaa Aboud Hamoud pointed out the methods used by the occupation to attack the region, and said that the Turkish occupier is not satisfied with attacking the region by land and air, but rather "is trying to attack us from within as well by spreading sedition among the components of the region through its agents."

Stressing that the goal of these attacks is to destabilize the security and stability enjoyed by the region, occupy it, and plunder its resources.

Therefore, Sanaa Hamoud stressed the need for all components to unite together and stand with their military forces on the defense fronts, and said: "We, as components of the city of Tal Tamr, Arabs, Kurds, Assyrians, and Syriacs, confirm that we are one hand in confronting the ambitions of the Turkish occupation state."

For his part, citizen Abdul Jassim Hamada pointed out that among the goals of the Turkish occupation in launching attacks on the region is also the displacement of its indigenous population, and said: "If it could, it would occupy all areas of North and East Syria, but the solidarity of the components of the region with its military forces thwarted those plans."

Hamada stressed that they stand hand in hand with the Syrian Democratic Forces in defending the region, adding: "If necessary, our children and elders will carry weapons alongside their forces to confront the attacks of the Turkish occupation."

He stressed that they will not allow the occupying state to occupy more Syrian lands, and said that they rely on their own forces in this, and never rely on international powers seeking their interests at the expense of the peoples of the region.

As for citizen Nohat Khalil Shandi, she confirmed that the occupying Turkish state also aims to eliminate the Autonomous Administration and empty the region of its original inhabitants of Arabs, Kurds, Assyrians and Syriacs.

She concluded her speech by saying: "No matter how much the occupying Turkish state escalates its attacks on the region, we will remain and stand firm in it."
