The residents of Tabqa canton in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria emphasized that the experience of the Autonomous Administration has succeeded in consolidating the values of coexistence among various components. They described it as the ideal model that should be extended across the entire Syrian geography to confront sectarianism and hate speech.

Citizen Abdul Karim Ahmed explained that the people of the region today experience a level of coexistence never known before, noting that the Autonomous Administration’s experience contributed to eliminating differences among components and solidifying the concept of the Democratic Nation.

He added: “Since the launch of the liberation process, we have not witnessed any inciting rhetoric or calls for hatred, thanks to the tremendous sacrifices made to consolidate civil peace.”

Ahmed pointed out that the sectarian and hateful rhetoric, as witnessed in some internal Syrian areas such as the coast and Sweida, are blatant attempts to rekindle discord.

Meanwhile, citizen Yasser al-Jumaa clarified that the strength of peoples lies in their diversity.:

He said: “In North and East Syria, we embody this diversity in reality, united by love for the homeland rather than religion, sect, or language. The Autonomous Administration has provided a practical model of people’s unity. The blood of the people of Raqqa mixed with that of Kobani and Deir ez-Zor in the battles of liberation, which is evidence of a shared destiny.”

Al-Jumaa confirmed that the enemies’ attempts to incite discord have failed, considering the Autonomous Administration’s model as the optimal path for building a stable and secure homeland free from sectarianism and hate speech.

Citizen Adila al-Akash pointed out that the Autonomous Administration granted women their rightful place and rights after decades of marginalization.

She added “Today, women stand as advocates of peace and exercise leadership roles thanks to the ideology of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. Women now freely express their opinions and have fair representation in all aspects of the administration.”

Al-Akash concluded her remarks by calling for the extension of the Autonomous Administration’s model throughout the entire Syrian territories, given its proven success in enhancing peace and societal harmony.
