Syrian Women's Council decries Gaza Hospital bombardment

The Syrian Women's Council condemned the targeting of Baptist Hospital in Gaza, and stressed that it is a dangerous development and a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms, including international humanitarian law.

Syrian Women's Council issued a written statement to public opinion, a copy of which we received, which stated:

“The Syrian Women’s Council condemns in the strongest terms the heinous crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces by bombing the residents in Baptist Hospital in Gaza, which led to the death of hundreds of civilians, including children, women, and the injured. We affirm that this crime is a brutal attack, which is a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms, including international law.” “This is a dangerous development, so we call on the international community to abandon duplication and selective standards in applying international humanitarian law when it relates to Israeli criminal practices and requires a serious and firm stance to provide protection for defenseless civilians.”
