The seminar was attended by representatives of political movements and cultural organizations, in addition to prominent national figures.

The representative of the Syrian Democratic Council in Germany, Dr. Rizgar Qasim, spoke during the seminar about the council’s efforts to promote comprehensive national dialogue, noting that the Syrian Democratic Council represents an umbrella that brings together all spectrums, religions and ethnicities in Syria.

For his part, the co-chair of the Relations Office in the Syrian Democratic Council, Hassan Muhammad Ali, reviewed the current political developments and regional challenges. He warned of the possibility of Turkey destabilizing the region, taking advantage of the international preoccupation with regional and international war issues. He also pointed to the failure of the "political Islam" project in Syria, stressing the religious and cultural diversity of Syrian society.

Muhammed Ali stressed that the best solution for Syria lies in implementing decentralization and strengthening the comprehensive national identity, stressing the importance of implementing UN Security Council Resolution 2,254.

The symposium concluded by opening the floor for discussion to the attendees, where the participants agreed to support the efforts of the Syrian Democratic Council in its quest to achieve a comprehensive national dialogue and find a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
