Interior Body reveals outcome of its operations during 2 months

The Co-Presidency of the Interior Body in the North and East Syria region held an expanded meeting today, which included all administrative and security departments and general administrations in the Cantons to discuss and evaluate their work during the months of August and September.

 Despite the Turkish attacks, our forces worked to establish security and stability. The General Security Service managed to arrest a large number of spies and terrorist cell members:

 80 spies working for the MIT.

 147 members of ISIS terrorist cells

 35 agents working for the Syrian regime

 75 mercenaries working for the Turkish occupation militias

 They were found in possession of

 2 Kalashnikovs

 4 various pistols

 1 binocular

 1 180 mm mortar

 4 rockets

 4 detonators

 3 hunting rifles

 Our forces in the General Department of Drug Control managed to arrest 678 drug users, promoters, sellers and dealers and seized in their possession:

 (1,353 kg) one kilogram and three hundred and fifty-three grams of crystal meth.

 (7,261 kg) seven kilograms and two hundred and sixty-one grams of cannabis.

 (773,714) seven hundred and seventy-three thousand and seven hundred and fourteen Captagon pills.

 (58,134) Fifty-eight thousand one hundred and thirty-four various narcotic pills

 1.11 grams of heroin

 65 marijuana plants

 958 narcotic injections

 12 marijuana cigarettes

 While the General Department for Combating Crime managed to arrest 1607 criminals and wanted persons, the various criminal files were as follows:

 Our forces managed to dismantle three explosive devices that were prepared for detonation.

 On the other hand, the months of August and September witnessed 969 traffic accidents, resulting in the death of 50 people and the injury of 593 people.

 In the midst of all the events and difficulties, our forces' colleges and schools did not stop graduating training courses, as the General Administration of Colleges and Schools graduated 6 training courses in various specializations.

 During the campaigns, 4 of our members were martyred and 12 members were injured.

 The meeting concluded with directives from the General Command, and a great emphasis on making more efforts than ever before to achieve great results in establishing security and safety in our regions."
