The campaign organizers confirmed the closure of the electronic signing process, noting that the number of signatures exceeded 100,000. They emphasized that the next phase will involve verification and organization before submitting the final results to international authorities.

They explained that the exact figures will be announced once the paper-based signatures from various centers are fully counted and the registrants’ data from the online platform is verified.

The “Right to Self-Determination” campaign began online on Sunday, September 14, and moved to in-person signing on Wednesday, September 17, at dozens of centers across Sweida’s towns and cities.

Al-Karama Square in central Sweida witnessed intense activity, with volunteers registering signatures and encouraging residents to participate, as part of efforts to promote community engagement and support for the demand for the right to self-determination.
