The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation took control of the municipalities of Nubl and Zahraa in the Al-Shahba region, which were under the control of the Damascus government forces, after their withdrawal. This prompted the people of the two towns to head on foot towards the town of Al-Safira, after they were stranded and found themselves homeless.

ANHA Agency published videos show more than 100 people sleeping on the ground without blankets in one of the basements of the town of Al-Safira, amidst a miserable situation and a shortage of water and food.

The videos also show how the people are eating animal feed to satisfy their hunger, with a complete lack of medicines.

According to the information provided in the video, dozens of people lost their lives due to the cold and lack of medicines and food.
