SOHR: Damascus forces arrest 35 people on Lebanese-Syrian border

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Damascus government forces arrested about 35 people from the North and East of Syria, on the Salamiyah-Tabqa road, after they crossed the Lebanese-Syrian border, after the Israeli bombing.

According to the SOHR, Damascus government forces accused them of "failing to perform compulsory and reserve service", and they were taken to an unknown location, without revealing their fate until now.

The number of people who arrived in the region of North and East Syria reached 11,814 people, including 28 Lebanese, who came from Lebanon during the past few days, according to statistics from the Crisis Cell.

According to the SOHR, the checkpoints of the Damascus government forces continue to tighten the noose and financially extort Syrians returning from Lebanon, as they impose fees of up to 200,000 Syrian pounds on each bus carrying them, in addition to the same amount, for each person wanted for military service, and anyone who refuses to pay is subject to arrest.
