social figures: Kurdish unity is essential in current stage

In light of the sensitive conditions the region is experiencing, amidst rapid political and military changes that reflect negatively or positively on the Kurdish issue, several social figures in the Alian area of the countryside of Jal Agha in al-Jazira region emphasized the importance of Kurdish unity to face the current challenges.

In this context, the social figure Behram Shamo said: "Kurdish unity today is a necessity for the sensitive phase the region is going through, which is a decisive stage for the Kurdish people."

Pointing out that Kurdish parties cannot continue to work individually for the Kurdish cause; because, as he put it, this brings with it a state of division in the Kurdish street due to party disputes that hinder the unification of the Kurdish political discourse in the face of attempts and attacks targeting the Kurdish presence.

He continued: "More than ever, the Kurds today need to set aside their party differences; because today is the day to protect the Kurdish cause, and all Kurdish forces must unite their efforts to achieve a better future for the Kurdish people."

Shamo emphasized that Kurdish unity is not an option but a necessity of the moment, as the continuation of party disputes and division will affect the fate and future of the Kurdish cause in the four parts of Kurdistan. He said, "Therefore, the future of Kurdistan depends on unity at this time," calling at the end of his speech to confront any attempts that hinder the progress of unity and to continue demanding its achievement.

For his part, Ali Hassan, one of the social figures in the region and a member of the reconciliation committee in Jal Agha, said: "Now days, as the Kurdish people, we are experiencing a decisive and critical stage, as long as continues the division state in the Kurdish Street. Our ability will be weakened in defending the rights of the Kurdish people. Therefore, it is essential that the struggle of the Kurdish people in all parts of Kurdistan, especially in Rojava, is crowned with unity and a unified political discourse."

He pointed out the necessity for Kurdish parties to agree on a unified political vision that genuinely supports the unity of the Kurdish community, emphasizing that the continuation of disputes among the parties will only weaken the Kurds' ability to face field and political challenges.

In conclusion, Hassan reiterated the importance of unity, calling on the Kurdish parties to hold a national conference capable of uniting them and ending the state of division, enabling the Kurds to face all the difficulties that threaten their existence.
