Signatories on a petition for leader's freedom: Ocalan’s ideology grants  us freedom

On Saturday, the first day of collecting signatures began in the town of Al-Kasra in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor province, and it is scheduled to continue until all the villages and towns of the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor are visited.

The first day witnessed a large turnout by people to sign the petition demanding the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The administrator of the Zenobia Women’s Gathering Council in Deir ez-Zor canton, Khitam al-Ahmad, confirmed that “the campaign will continue until all villages and towns of the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor are completely ended.”

In her turn, the administrator of the Western Region Council, Aisha Masoud, said, “We, the people of Deir ez-Zor, announce our participation in collecting signatures for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, who lifted the injustice against us and the people of the region.”

Aisha Al-Masoud stressed, “We sought this humanity in the person of Leader Abdullah Ocalan through his thought, philosophy, and awareness through his project that supports the people and grants women their freedom, and we will not stop demanding the leader’s physical freedom.”
