Today, leader Abdullah Ocalan’s brother, Mohammad Ocalan, through his lawyer Mazlum Dinç, along with Omar Khairi Kunar’s brother, Ali Kunar, Hamili Yildirim's brother, Polat Yildirim, and Veysi Aktaş’s sister, Meliha Aktaş, submitted a new request to the Office of the Public Prosecutor in the Turkish city of Bursa and the Imrali Prison Directorate to visit them.

Lawyers from the Al-Asr Human Rights Office submit two requests every week to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bursa and the Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with their clients. Their families also submit two requests each week, totaling 16 requests per month, without receiving any response.

The system of torture and extermination in Imrali continues, depriving leader Abdullah Ocalan of his rights, even as a prisoner.
