Shelling in Homs countryside, reports of casualties
Sites in Homs countryside on the Syrian-Lebanese border were shelled again, amid reports of casualties.
Large explosions were heard from the direction of the industrial city in Qusayr in the Homs countryside, and columns of smoke were seen rising.
Damascus government media spoke of a new Israeli targeting of the Homs countryside.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, "Israel targeted warehouses in the industrial city in Qusayr and buildings on the outskirts of the city of Qusayr in the Homs countryside near the Syrian-Lebanese border with several raids."
Various media outlets, some affiliated with the Damascus government, others opposition, and some local, reported reports of casualties.
The targeted area had been targeted by Israel on October 31 with 3 raids by its warplanes.
