The head of the Tayi Arab Tribe Council, Sheikh Hassan Farhan al-Abdullah, survived an attempt to kidnap him near the security square in the city of Qamishlo, where unknown persons tried to lure him to a restaurant.

In a statement to ANHA's agency, Sheikh Hassan said that the operation was organized to kidnap me. He added: "I am sure that those behind such actions are the enemies of success and community organization under the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and I am confident that our solidarity will continue thanks to the presence of benevolent people among our people, and they are many."

Sheikh Hassan Farhan al-Abdullah, head of the Tayi Arab Tribe Council, had stated to ANHA's agency 10 days ago that: “ DAA is the ideal solution to resolve the Syrian issue, and the solidarity of the components, thanks to the thought and philosophy of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, has created a cohesive and unified society capable of confronting all external dangers.”
