Shaaban highlighted the importance of the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and said: “I believe that Abdullah Ocalan must be transformed into a symbol of the struggle, just as in the recent past Nelson Mandela was a symbol of the popular struggle in South Africa and even all Africans, and I remember in that period apartheid, which The rule of South Africa, and the confinement of the freedoms of African citizens in this important country, was Nelson Mandela’s slogan of freedom on every tongue, and the pressures of struggle in all parts of the world were able to influence decision-makers, demolish the apartheid regime, and support freedom for the people of South Africa.”

Shaaban pointed out: “Comrade Abdullah Ocalan cannot be ignored, and the Kurdistanins people have rallied around this great national and struggling symbol, and the whole world has begun to pay attention to its value, and the greatest evidence of this is the event in which active groups and trusted individuals participated in more than 100 countries.”

Shaaban explained: “Public logic requires a special look at the role of Comrade Abdullah Ocalan with regard to the Kurdish issue, which makes his release and freedom have a very positive impact on the Kurdistan issue in its entirety, and brings the meanings of a political solution to the Kurdish issue closer and protects the issue from erosion or mistakes.” Possible in the absence of the founding leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party and the distinguished leader of the Kurdistan popular struggle, and the more Turkish fascism persists in violating the freedoms of comrade Abdullah Ocalan and insists on imprisoning his freedom and preventing him from enjoying his legitimate rights among his people and his comrades in the struggle, the more the value of this character and its symbolic significance will increase.”

Regarding the impact of the activities and events that are held to achieve the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, Shaaban pointed out that: “The activities carried out by the real democratic forces in the world, and not the democracy paid for by the United States and the West, but rather the forces that fight for freedom for peoples and democracy for classes.” Popular and working people who stand in the face of imperialism and Western and American hegemony. I think that this activity that the world witnessed in the recent period in support of Abdullah Ocalan’s slogan of freedom is very impressive. Global solidarity is very necessary, because like Turkish fascism, it is greatly affected by international pressures because it cannot confront the world with all its might. This aggression against the freedom of an individual did nothing but call for the freedom of his people. Leader Abdullah Ocalan presented theses and solutions that would end the chaos prevailing in the world, the chaos of war, climate extremism, and the conflict in the Middle East. He continued: “The visions he proposed deserve to be a new line and path for resolving the problems facing nationalities, races and sects in our region, and these conflicts between these parties ultimately lead to the drain of energies, the consumption of capabilities, and the deflection of the popular struggle in this region from its natural path, and cultural and ethnic diversity diverts it into a path.” “Our country went from a gain and a positive value to a site of conflict and draining energies.”

Shaaban stressed: “The release of Comrade Abdullah Ocalan and his return to his normal life, as millions of people in the world live, with all the wisdom and ideas he possesses that matured during his years of detention, will have a positive impact on solving many problems in our region, and reaching positive results much faster.” "As it is at these moments."

The Secretary-General of the Egyptian Socialist Party, Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Shaaban, believes that the activities are insufficient, but time sees that they are positive, good and influential.
