Residents of the Al-Firdous neighborhood in Aleppo complained of a persistent sewage blockage that has lasted for more than three months, emphasizing that the problem remains unresolved despite the extended period since its initial occurrence.

Activists shared images showing stagnant water accumulating in one of the neighborhood's streets due to the blocked sewage lines. They confirmed that they had contacted the city municipality multiple times without any response.

Residents also reported that several ground-floor homes in the area were partially flooded with sewage, negatively impacting the health and environmental conditions in the neighborhood, especially given the foul odors and high temperatures during the summer.
