Fire extinguished near M4 International Road in Tel Tamr

Civil defense teams, with the support of local residents in the city of Tel Tamr, extinguished a large fire that broke out in a harvested agricultural field along the international M4 highway (Qamishlo–Tel Tamr axis), preventing it from spreading to adjacent farmlands. Material losses were limited to the affected site.

Civil defense teams in Tel Tamr, assisted by local residents, managed to bring under control a large fire that broke out in a harvested agricultural field along the M4 international highway on the Qamishlo–Tel Tamr route, before the flames could spread to nearby agricultural lands.

Firefighting and emergency teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the report, working alongside residents to contain and extinguish the fire. Their efforts helped limit its spread and prevent greater losses to nearby crops and farmland.

Relevant authorities confirmed that the damage was limited to material losses at the site where the fire occurred, with no human casualties recorded. They also renewed calls for caution and the adoption of necessary safety measures, especially amid rising temperatures and the increased risk of fires during the agricultural season.
