Security campaign in Al-Hol Camp continues for 4th day
The security campaign launched by the Internal Security Forces, the Women's Protection Units, and supported by the Syrian Democratic Forces continues for the fourth consecutive day in sectors two and four of Al-Hol Camp.
The Internal Security Forces and the Women's Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria, with the participation of the Women's Protection Units and support from the Syrian Democratic Forces, launched a security campaign on April 18 inside Al-Hol Camp, based on accurate intelligence about the presence of ISIS sleeper cells both inside and outside the camp.
On the fourth day, the security forces continue search and sweep operations inside sectors two and four.
Sector two houses Iraqi refugees, while sector four shelters Syrian internally displaced persons (IDPs).
This is not the first campaign launched by the Internal Security Forces in Al-Hol Camp, which is considered one of the most dangerous camps in the world. The total number of its residents is 35,323 people, including 13,124 Iraqis, 15,805 Syrians, and 6,385 individuals from the families of ISIS mercenaries.
