SDF shoots down 2 Turkish occupation drones in vicinity of Tishreen Dam and Deir Hafer

The Syrian Democratic Forces announced that the vicinity of Tishreen Dam, Qarqozaq, Deir Hafer and the villages affiliated with them were subjected to violent ground and air bombardment by the occupying Turkish state and its mercenaries, which caused significant material damage. It also revealed that it had shot down two drones that attempted to carry out attacks against the area.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) revealed that they shot down two drones belonging to the Turkish occupation state, which were trying to target the villages surrounding Tishreen Dam and Deir Hafer.

“Yesterday, The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries intensified the brutal attacks on northern and eastern Syria. The Turkish warplanes conducted a series of airstrikes near the Tishreen Dam, including multiple strikes on workers’ housing in the vicinity of the dam. These airstrikes were accompanied by heavy artillery shelling targeted surrounding villages, causing material damage. In response, our fighters successfully shot down a drone belonging to the Turkish occupation attempting to strike villages near the dam.
On Qara Qwzaq Bridge front, Turkish occupation warplanes carried out several airstrikes on the villages of Al-Tineh and Ghasaq, as well as on Saifi Hill, resulting in damage to civilian homes and property. Additionally, Turkish occupation and its mercenaries shelled the villages of Al-Tineh, Ja’ada, Bir Hisso, Dekan, and Al-San’a, along with the Saifi Hill and Qara Qwzaq Hill, using heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers, and mortars. More than 40 shells were fired indiscriminately, causing extensive damage to civilian homes and properties.
At 7:30 PM yesterday, Turkish occupation warplanes launched an airstrike west of Ahmed Mounir Palace in the town of Sheikhler (Al-Shuyoukh), west of Kobani, resulting in material damage.
Meanwhile, on the Deir Hafer front, Turkish occupation UCAVs remains active in the area’s airspace. Another drone attempted to bomb our forces’ positions but was successfully shot down by our fighters.”
